Over £4k for a weekend of racing, as already said it is FKS but more expensive and that has tried and failed more than once.We are running with a team this year and team fee's are £700/race weekend on average and that is one super 1 round per month and one club round per month, we do own our own kart and engines but we will certainly get our money back on the engines and the chassis will be worth something if he doesnt bend it in half. I think we are paying way too much to race karts so not sure what this series marketing angle is that is worth paying so much money. if you have that much money to waste on karting you can afford a top end team and equipment so your not concerned about the level playing field. Those that havent got that budget and want a level playing field are not able to afford it. When will someone come up with a pooled engine, tyres and fuel series, run your own chassis and awning, will level the playing field and might not cost as much.
