lol i think there are a number of drivers in all classes that have a magic set of wets that allows them to be considerably faster than others and not have to brake on the wet line either. Super 1 levels the playing field with tyres and fuel and you never find it happening at there races. Does make me wonder how many of us stand there looking at some driver 1 second down the road on others in his class and we all think the same thing, but the father continues with this and thinks his driver is a super star when we all know whats going on. Pfi will have a tyre sniffer for the next meeting and so will all super 1 and o plate events. Guess you will have the club bandits who bend the rules and tell you how good they are, then are no where when super comes to there track. I watched it at Pfi last meeting, i just tell my son to keep somewhere near the podium through winter whilst we race the club bandits and then enjoy the super 1 championship and see where the super stars are then. It would be laughable if the rest of the honest parents werent spending so much money to watch someone blatantly gain advantage. Watched it this weekend at Buckmore with fuel and i listened to the dad telling someone how fast his son was and how he was cheated out of pole. When the engines he was hiring from a team were not top quality and he was banging in fastest laps against super 1 quality drivers in his class who were running top end engines.
