We had the same dilemma and are going JTKM, my reasoning was as follows:

I'm Midlands based and can find a decent grid.

I genuinely think the class is on the up again.

I wasn't prepared to put money into Rotax, especially knowing mini x30 is around the corner.

I believe the racing is closer with less cheque book racing than Rotax because there is better parity between engines.

I like the fact it's basically a big cadet kart I.e air cooled, piston ported 2 stroke, on a simple chassis.

That's it really!
