A Gold Sovereign (7.99 grams of real gold) is on offer for the winner of the Junior Blue race at Clay Pigeon on July 12.

A half Sovereign for coming Second

A quarter sovereign for coming third.

Google tells me that a Gold sovereign can be bought for Ł199 , Bullion By Post will pay you Ł172.

Tabor are doing a special deal for those drivers who want to try their hand (luck?) for the Junior Blue race on Clay Pigeon's Charity Day.

It has to be worth a try, surely ?
