Well seeing as you aren't allowed to start an engine anywhere except on the grid at most places, the only time you realise that the stater is ****ed is when you go to start it on the grid.
This is the only cause of people getting caught out on the grid because the starter actually fails during the previous heat or race.
The charging circuit is still in place, the only thing that isn't is the bloody brushes..
There's absolutely nothing wrong with using a remote starter on the grid if someone has one, it doesn't influence the outcome of anything, it's just bureuacratic tosh.
Disconnecting the charging circuit is futile as the current involved is negligible and a flapping boot lace probably absorbs more power.
Sort the product out not the driver, oh sorry I forgot, it's more fun to ruin a weekend for someone.
