Karting 1 general forum. Topic otk brake rebuild. Here you should find the definitive guide to bleeding otk brakes by the excellent raceinstructor, Nigel of Llandow kart shop.
Simple points to note are that apparently reservoirs should be no more than 1/3 to 1/2 full in use. Otk always specified Dot 5 silicone fluid and word was that Dot4 would destroy the seals, but latest recommendation is apparently Dot 5.1which is an upgraded version of Dot 4 and completely different to Dot 5. Some think any of the three is ok but mixed 4 /5.1 with 5 looks a mess. E &OE.
