So last time out the kart started to surge badly on long right hand bends and after a search on here I come up with the advise of fuel surge due to the tank having less than a third left in it and the pick up pipe was drawing in air.
I run a large tank, 7ltrs or 9ltrs come to mind.
So I've filled the tank up, fitted a complete kit to the carb (wb19) and set the pop of to 11psi and it holds pressure at around 6psi.
I took it back out today and it's doing exactly the same, I get to around 11k and then a brick wall. The power cuts out violently and stops, I can ease off and throttle it again and it's instant power. I've replaced the fuel pipe to the tank and inside the tank as well. I've also fitted a brand new spark plug, denso IW29.
has anyone got any ideas what's causing this?
Cheers.
