It's possible the 148 might not be larger than the 145.

If the jets are Chinese Dellorto clones, they will not be accurate.

The only way to test this is to flow your jets accurately.

Interesting point about removing the Venturi in scrutineering without some method of heating the carb body is that you are modifying the carb because material will be removed when you drive the dry Venturi out and back in. Also, the glue that holds the plastic sleeve is broken. I presume that IS allowed. It just highlights the stupidity.
