Hello dynamax, yes I think that would be sad indeed.
There is a need to keep the juniors racing and the parents happy to send them racing. I can only see Blue and TKM allows me to do that. (easy kart also but depends on a number of other factors).
But as I have said before, the element that causes contact is based on the popularity of the class and the range of youngsters it draws in.
Saying that, whos idea was it to put 11-16 year olds in racing karts? Its bad enough trying to get them to talk to you politely, wash and/or get out of bed, and thats before the testosterone (or lady equivalent) kicks in. :-)
