Without wishing to get involved in the politics of the various associations of which there are many and many agendas.

I have been racing with Blue engine (IAME Lynx) for the past year and it appears to be a great power unit. I have a very old second hand unit and bought a new unit and there is no obvious difference between the two in performance terms racing in the Blue series.

Why try and replace with the X30? Again this is a like for like discussion on the power unit - no agenda - dynamax you mentioned it so I thought it would be worth asking - I like the look of the X30 as well but I do feel the Lynx has a place in UK karting. Cheap, reliable, TaG, revs to 17k, water cooled, Tillotson carb. All good from what I can see.
