I agree with Alan. I don't see the point in welding a bar into a chassis and ruining it for anything other than tkm, that's why we never welded ours in on the along and it works brilliantly for us in all conditions without. I personally would just buy a chassis designed for the class. Make sure your absolutely sure before welding it in its right for you. Funny we where advised to weld ours in buy a guy who we consistently beat and he still insists we should weld it in. The same as I have had people tell me I need a tiller blah blah and my rears at blah and my fronts at blah. It's funny to see their faces when you beat them with set ups that people think won't work. I am just waffling now as I have a smartphone instead of a steam powered Nokia and am on a honeymoon period.
