Having read all the comments for the Rissy Cadets, I am saddened at some of the comments that have been pointed at the club. What all seem to forget is that the club is run by volunteers, who give up their free time to allow their sons and daughters to race and any visitors that attended the meetings. What we should all remember is that ANY on track issues are dealt with by the Clarke of the course and not the club staff and these in turn are governed by the MSA regulations. On the issue of splitting the grids, some will say that the club maid the correct decision and others will say that all the cadets should have been run on one grid. The old adage of " you can please some of the people some of the time, but you cannot please all the of the people all the time" comes to mind. On the issue of supplying more staff to be on track during the practice/race the club does not have a endless supply of officials, so the suggestion that more officials should be available for observing is not an easy one to for fill. As we all know Rissy is one of the best tracks in the country and from my experience one of the friendliest that I have come across, and welcomes everyone with open arms, because without you all, the club would not exist ( and I am sure that we all agree that we would not like to see another club go under?)
