Might be me being thick!

If a quick release bumper is designed to come off should you hit the kart in front, wouldn't this also penalise the poor bugger who got loaded, hits the kart in front of him due to the force of impact and his bumper then detaches?

This weekend I feared my lad was ready to quit racing as he continued to be smacked around the track, always by the same individuals. After 1 race I took it up with an official regarding a particular driver. I was then informed that he was already on his way the clerks office as he rammed off 3 other drivers in the same race all on different corners. All he got was a warning not to do it again. The marshals were radioing the info through to the clerk during the race, personally I feel that a black flag should be used.
