Welcome to rotax max.

Im afraid theres so many variables you cannot tell whats good just by looking at it. Wadding, Length Width etc all vary so it all makes a difference.
A slightly shorter expansion chamber will give better top end. and a longer one will give better bottom end power.

In other classes TKM/X30/F100 you can vary the exhaust length via a flex. which you can use to change the power band of the engine.
Sadly you don't have this on the max as mopeds aren't critical as on the local town centre ring road your not searching for the last 1/10th.... so you have to buy a lot of exhausts and wadings and just go through them.

Also whats your best one this week might be rubbish when you change wadding.... so its still a lottery.

Grice just had around 15 new ones in, which he tested on the rolling road.... so maybe speak to him.
