Thanks it sounds like it should all be ok based on what you are saying. To be honest I was at PFI and it was a long way back on a trolley so I thought I would limp it back to the pits at half speed! When I inspected the pump it appeared the bearing had become stiff for some reason. It span around ok by hand but it was enough to cause the bands to slip around the pulley rather than rotate it around. Will check pump every time I go out from now on!
