Never read such a load of garbage in my life from the back in the day brigade. Pretty much sums up one of the main things wrong with karting. Too many people are stuck in the 60s/70s. KARTING HAS MOVED ON Its no longer a working man's sport where everyone looks after their equipment. Why is any kid who's been brought up with daddys endless sums of money and been told by their team they are the best driver in the world going to think twice about ramming someone out of the way at the risk of damaging bodywork/bending a stub axle etc.
Hat's off to those willing to TRY something different to move with the times. If it doesn't work in practice, who cares? We can TRY something else like single file or racing speed starts.
Before I dive for cover from the barrage of abuse and lectures on why making motorsport less safe than it was 40 years ago is a good idea, I'll say.................................. A 4 Stroke could sit ticking over on a grid all day long
