Simon you appear to be deliberately misinterpeting things to suit your argument. People with contrary opinion aren't barred from the driver's association, they are encouraged. Join up, I bet you'll be accepted.

The organisations referred to as reacting too slowly are the ABkC and MSA, not the clubs. I don't know how you came to that conclusion.

You know what, we can argue about the minutiae til the cows come home but what even you can't deny is that the sport is stuck in a long term decline. So let's join together and do something about it. Join the driver's association, ensure that we get a spread of opinion and share your ideas for how we can turn this around. We're past the point where we can just sit back and trust that the governing bodies will turn it around. They've already failed and have been failing for many years.
