Your statement is probably flawed when you come out and tout all the advantages of running a Blue
Reliability Unsealed engine Tillotson carb Long lasting tires Times between services
as if they were somehow new and original to the X30. This has been true of the Blue for a long time as is the CNC equality of performance.
And no, there isn't that much difference between running an unrestricted Lynx Maxi (117 cc) and a X30 at 125cc. But a 98kg X30 driver might find himself at a considerable disadvantage to a 50kg X30 driver, and find conditions more competitive in a grid using the Blue restrictors.
The truth is that the actual speeds reached by on any circuit are pretty close, the differences are mainly rubber and technique rather than different skill levels. Speeds at the braking point are going to be very similar simply because of physics, the minor difference in horsepower aren't going to lead to huge differences in performance.
But as threads on the forum regularly attest, people will claim their class is best on the basis of lap times by a driver better than they are, prettier graphics, numbers on the grid, better advertising or karting politics.
"Best" class is a myth, whether X30 or any other.
