Does anybody know if Tamworth Karting (Priory Park) is to re-open, I did see something on Facebook a month or so back saying the track extension was happening and would re-open end of March 2014. Cannot find any updates since.

Having just started karting with my lad in a ZIP Comer W60, we are looking for a circuit local where he can get plenty of track time especially now his confidence is starting to build just want to practice lines, breaking point, turning point etc. before we take the next step into any form of competition racing. Nearest circuit we have found where he can get plenty of track time at the moment is Kinsham Raceway on the border of Wales.

Any news or advice on tracks local to the Midlands would be great.
