I tried really hard when putting the calendar together to make sure doing a "home" club championship, with a dropped round or 2, was still a possibility for members of all 4 clubs involved. It all got quite complicated (and I'm in awe of the job the Comp Secretaries do because of it), but I was pretty sure at the time that it worked out. I'm certainly going to do the Cheshire KRC champs as well as Northern TKM this year, and as many extra rounds at Rowrah and Wombwell as I can fit in / afford.

It is a shame we couldn't do something with NKF, but by the time it was mentioned we were a long way into organising a mirror of the Midlands TKM Club Championship. Since that has been very successful for TKM Junior and Senior it seemed the best way to continue. I think it might re-enliven interest in TKM throughout the North - it would be nice to see all the clubs, this championship AND NKF having regular Extreme and Junior TKM grids. Certainly hope so anyway.
