Thank you all for your advice this is greatly appreciated. Just a couple of questions on what you have all advised:
1. Plug gap at 1mm seems a little high to me, I have already taken it up from 0.5 to 0.7 based upon an old publication on the old Comer S60 would appreciate peoples thoughts on this.
2. This is going to sound really daft but when talking of leaning or richen the mixture how does this relate to adjustment of the jets I am assuming by winding the jets in this is leaning the mixture is this correct?
3. Upon the advise of somebody else they have suggested starting at a base point of 45 minutes on the low jet and 60 minutes on the high jet, again would appreciate other peoples thoughts on a base line setting. The same person also recommended running on a larger sprocket i.e. 92t so this is re-assuring other people are advising the same which seems to make sense.
4. Whilst I appreciate I need to invest in some form of data logger to register engine temperature and revs we do not have one at the moment is there any way of adjusting engine speed on tone as a temporary measure.
