Don't do it! As soon as you break that seal you will then have a very costly re build to get it re sealed as it will have to have many more checks made to ensure compliance before any sealer will re seal it. If you are suspect of your pump seals turn to a Rotax service Centre for checking and replacement. If it is only your pump seals that need replacing I wold be estimating that it would take me around an hour plus a full gasket set & re seal which, barring any other parts that need replacing I would charge approx £100 inc vat. A full re build less con rod but new piston, bearings, fische check dyno test & run in will be approx £350 inc vat. This will also include the warranty. Should you decide to go ahead and do the work yourself it will cocos you a minimum of £350 to get it re sealed as it will have to have a total strip for checking and will have no warranty.
