You wouldn't find me in any race results at Kim earlier this year. As I said, the first meeting I have done for 18 months was the TKM festival. I'm not quite a top driver, but not too far off the front and mostly consistent. Check the results for the Festival.

That's why I'm so confused by the thread. I had an 18 month old set of old tyres for the test day and hardly found any time at all when I put on these supposedly 'softer' slicks.

Also, with timed quali, 3 heats and 2 finals, surely the Festival sees more track time than the usual clubby. So if the slicks are softer and 'wearing to the canvas' why were mine (and everyone else's) in such good condition after the Festival?

I'm not disagreeing, I'm just intrigued by the comments and everyone's opinions.
