For sure the difference varies from track to track. Heres some examples. Kimbolton testing Friday for the Anglian cup we were 4 tenths off all day on 2 meeting old tyres (both at Kimbolton. Saturday we put new tyres on and were 2 hundredths off the pace and qualified 2nd in time qualifying. Clay the difference is huge, More like 5 to 6 tenths. Shenington its not much at all 1 to 2 tenths. Rissington eats fronts but rears not so important but I have little experience there so cannot really comment. The cnc barrells are a factor for sure but they been out years now and it seems the early ones are better. As you run a lot of Lads Dean , Do u agree on my figures ? I actually think its more the fronts than the rears . I am considering new fronts and used rears to save money then a full set from time to time.
