How do you see being underweight (and thus being able to mount the ballast exactly where you need to) as making you uncompetitive?

Compare your 'problem' to someone with a (for example) tall, well-built body-frame who CANNOT get down to less than 10kgs OVERweight.

I simply don't get it! What am I missing here?
