Glad you both enjoyed the trip out - never been to Whilton but a few have mentioned how tough it is on ribs. I'll get around to it one day.
Senior TKMs seem to have ended up back in clusters, but mainly around the "Midland" Club Championship that has run so successfully this year. As I've said in other posts, it surprises me that MSA TKM club grids have taken such a hammering in times of economic hardship. I still think it's the most cost effective way of going karting, both in terms of start-up and running costs.
I don't know what the best way of getting grids back up to decent numbers is. I know what isn't the best way, and that's the people who don't come racing because the grids are too small. Does anyone think another "Northern" club championship would be of interest? Say 3 Sisters, Hooton, Rowrah and GYG?
