Euromax now have to run with 3mm float heights, in reality there is a small latitude in this as the official checking tool has a tolerance of +/- 3/4 mm.
At a recent meeting of Rotax sealing agents the question of adopting the Euro regs on carbs was discussed and it was unanimous in the room that th UK stay with what we have now, but don't bet on it! Just because it is what we all wanted it is what BRP Rotax want that will dictate the decision.
Adopting the Euro regs will give us much bigger problems and the associated costs with meeting these regs. Other than float height restrictions.
