For precision, Sirio was set up in opposition to IAME but, once it'd done it's job, it was sold to them.

They also produced some super sticky tyres for their 'chosen driver'. The 'job' was to get the son of the owner (Felice Rovelli????) to the top of karting: World Champ in 1975, '76 and '77.

Poppa Rovelli was a rich banker (I think).

Who says money doesn't talk!

And then there's Riccardo Patrese.....
