You could argue that, although moving your seat back will affect your handling and could outweigh any advantage, plus you stick your nose too far infront and it will be obvious to the start as the distance is different and then you will get the penalty ;-)

To be fair to starters, trying to get 24 of daddies darlings you start textbook is nigh on impossible, so if it looks pretty good you let it go.

An inch or two might not be detectable when you are watching everything.

As with all roles, it is very easy to detect everything within a 12 inch zone of 1 particular kart, when you have to watch 20 of them it is alot harder
