I had them at the last meeting Russ (got them with a kart I bought last year) and it took me about 30 mins to get air into 2 tyres due to a fault with the adaptor.
In all fairness you could carry a spare adaptor so if you had a problem with one then you can switch to the other.
The problem with them though is you have to screw the adaptor onto each valve to put air in, it might only add 30 seconds per wheel but it's a real pain. You also need the adaptor screwed on to check/adjust your pressures so it just slows everything down, not good if you have a lot to get done in between heats.
I've done a fair few race meetings and practise days with the normal type of valve and I've never had a problem with them getting ripped out. I might be just lucky but I really don't think you need the flush valves, the hassle isn't worth it, not for club events anyway.
