You are welcome, I would be surprised if you could get a max motor and ancillaries for that sort of money, there is a very knowlegable and helpful subscriber to these forums (itpro) who has always been happy to mail keen karters his advice on how to bumpstart a direct drive kart yourself, it can be done and this guy I am sure will help if asked with respect, whichever way you go with motors karting is not cheap but is well worth it for the fun to be had! try not to go keep buying different motors etc, I did this when we first started you end up with lots of odd bits and bobs that sadly never seem to return your invesment, better if you can to buy the motor you really want at the start and find yourself an engine builder you trust to look after it for you, it will be cheaper in the long run, I say all of the above from experience and so you get the most karting from your budget!!
