Why does everyone get so uptight about "must go faster" every time some thing changes.
You are racing in a controlled class, everyone who you are racing against is going to be on the same tyres.
Do you honestly think that because you are half a second slower that you are going to have time to polish your nails down the straight.
Even F1 weren't complaining that the pirelli tyres were slower, they were just finding it difficult to understand how to go as fast as possible on what they were racing on.
Other classes have gone through the same changes and I dont know of anyone leaving the class because the tyres are too slow.
The only people I see disadvantaged are those who are on a tight budget and were hoping to keep their tyres from this season to use again next season.
For the others, if the class isnt quick enough for you in the wet, move on to a quicker class or get over it and put all your energy into understanding how to get the most out of the new tyres.
