The NKRA runs 6 classes, 2 cadet, 2 junior, 2 senior.

Certainly it gets more entries in Formula Blue for historic reasons (it runs the national championships and awards the prestigious numbers for Formula Blue) but that doesn't mean it doesn't run the other classes. (Junior Blue and Junior TKM, Senior Blue and Senior Rotax).

The same goes for the NKF, it runs several different classes at each age group.

The only valid reason that I can see for setting up a different championship is if you particularly only want to run at particular clubs. Otherwise all you get in any class or championship are falling grids because "the numbers aren't big enough". They'll never become big enough if no-one takes the plunge and races in that class or championship series.
