What piston clearances do you run? I'm using just over 0.003" on some of my engines, which is pretty tight for 54 mm bore 2 stroke. They still don't seize.

Traxtar, when I was new to karting 2 years ago I took your constant belittling of anything I said, and quite frankly poor advice. I was new to the game, you had plenty of experience, all I could do was bow to your greater experience.

I have over 25 years of professional race engine building experience, and currently teach Motor Sports Engineering in a University. Many of my graduates now work in F1 and international rallying. I tend not to open my mouth or type on a keyboard unless I know I'm on fairly firm ground. I have run in more engines than most people have driven cars.

I completely forgot my old rule. If Traxtar posts in a thread, then I don't post in it again. Consequently this will be my last in this one. You have been unpleasant to me since my arrival on this forum, and how you're not banned I will never know.
