karts are a lot wider now
there slightly longer too (mainly to accommodate rotax style exhausts.)
Theres more weight outside the chassis rails now. (pods)
We have full length bumpers on the rear.
The axles are thicker.
The stubs are thicker and wider
Clutches are on karts
They Weight a lot more now
Tyre construction is different now.
The materials used for components is mainly magnesium (otk anyway)
Seats are softer
Theres now more accurate data logging
The motors reliability has increased
The karts use the kerbs more now.
Theres many different types or rim available
The most popular class is now a one engine make class.
Torsion bars are used more on chassis now.
The ride height of karts appears to be lower in general
The rake of the seat is further back.
with 50mm axles the rear hubs overhang the axle more.
Seat stays are used more.
More professional teams
Less Dad and lad in a 3x3 pop up

Kartings not changed a bit has it lol its changed loads.
