Have you ever spoken to a user of Homeopathy? They will ALSO tell you the effects are REAL and are NOT just 'Placebo effects'. As will those who pay for witch-doctor cures...!
Do a proper test.... send the lad out with a standard axle, then send him off for coffee, get the tools out, get greasy, sprinkle some iron filing about, drop two rings of axle on the floor... and send him out again. Let's see what he reports about the 'shorter axle'..... when you HAVEN'T cut it...... but while he thinks you HAVE!
When you can explain HOW a circumcised axle can affect the handling in a PREDICTABLE way when we don't know if the axle was 'too stiff' or 'too soft' to start with... and yet 'softening' the axle assembly by the circumsising it makes 'magical' handling improvements...... and we both know that softening an axle that it TOO SOFT already will make things worse.... and so on...
If you guys just said:
'Circumcision CHANGES the handling'...
...then I might be more believing. All the OTHER changes we make have effects in BOTH directions: i.e. adjusting something can make things better OR worse. I don't see many of you saying it makes things WORSE.... and that 'smells' a bit!
I simply cannot 'believe' in things that I can't explain..... hence, I am NOT a Christian!
It does leave me a bit confused as to why manufacturers of axles make these damn stupid axles TOO LONG in the first place..... do they not know what YOU guys know?
