Stand your chassis on it's side and then stand your seat on its side. I'll then put my CONSIDERABLE bulk on the chassis while you put you minimal weight on the side of the seat. I must weigh damned nigh DOUBLE your weight and we'll watch if it's the seat or the chassis that deforms the most......
I am STILL waiting to hear ANYONE tell me what part of the seat does the 'work'. If it's the weave resisting twisting, or the 'bracing' of the two seat stays by the refusal to 'flex' of the seat..... just SAY so! Amazing how all those who 'KNOW' seats produce magical quantities of stiffening don't seem to be quite so forthcoming about HOW they stiffen! Now, why would THAT be?
