TKM - rear axle issues

Hi

I have an 2004 TKM Tec Mec Chassis, it is used once a month for practice only but both drivers are not light 80-95kg.

the issue I have is the grub screws seem to be constantly coming loose which I know is not un common maiing the axle run porrly in the bearings, they have been well pocketed into the solid 30mm axle and I have tried using analoc style glues to stop them coming loose zip ties stop them coming out completely but they still come loose.

The bearings are circa 2 years old what is the expected life for them been used as above, the axle is at least 3+ years old I have checked it for concentricity and looks to be circa 5 thou out on both of the wheel hubs and 2 thou on the inside of the bearings

I am going to buy some collars to help stop some of the movement from RS components, but wondering are my problems caused by

1. bent axle
2. knackered bearings
3. both
4. or just strip everything down clean up and refit

Or is just a case of carry on what I have been doing as “they all do that sir” ?
