Because of some very dad comments, I will put the record straight as to why Blue Drivers feel peeved.
When I was approached to run and promote Blue and the NKRA in the North by Ron, an understanding was agreed that if we built up the NKRA this year it would go a long way to getting a major event like the O plate.
MBKC joined in and registration rose even though we were part way through the year.
With the result of the Lunar cup and growing interest in Blue for next year things were on the up in the north and even other tracks were seeing an increase in support as new engines were sold up here.
After a meeting of the NKRA committee Ron phoned me to confirm the O plate was at MBKC for 2012 and asked for dates to be confirmed. A date was confirmed to him.
Only at the NKRA finals were we informed that the O plate was to be withdrawn from MBKC because only three northerners turned up at the finals.
No consideration was given as to the reasons behind this, One being very ill, One pending surgery on his back, One with a broken foot, One not able to attend and pre-informed to Ron weeks in advance, Two changing to Rotax one TKM After all the efforts put in by MBKC to promote NKRA Blue and fill the void in the north, it felt like a kick in the b---s. I can fully appreciate Ron’s and the NKRA committee decision to offer back to a club in the south the O plate as the Finals are in Scotland.
It is the lack of communication in informing MBKC that has aggrieved blue drivers and MBKC.

Thanks for the remarks to me in confidence
A question from a Blue driver
I am one of two buddies that go club racing together.
I am a driver of 81.2 kg driving a blue top. (Race Weight) My friend is a driver of 81kg driving a green top. (Race Weight) We have the same Karts and are in .5cm off each other in size.
I race at 164 kg plus race fuel Blue top
(F) Races at 174 kg plus race fuel Green top After a year on this we have found the green top to be (I will not say quicker) but certainly better to win on, but before I buy a green top my question is:
Is there in the light of all this any inkling Of an increase in Driver Min weight Maxi from 80kg to 84kg to be inline with the rest of the weight to restrictor ratios.
Or an increase of total weight maxi from 174kg to 176kg – 177kg Or a restrictor change to make smaller.
If one for these was in the offering I would stick with my blue top in blue racing MSA
