Your right foot can prevent wheelspin better....
If I have a motor with an insane amount of bottom end torque then I will naturally throw away the teeth, however if I have a motor with monster top end then I can afford to let it keep reving on a little. The key is to never chase revs and don't chase teeth neither. Your racing to beat the other drivers not the circuit! Rowrah last weekend we reved at 17200 in a session. Wigan we rev over 2500 revs less. Makes no odds to the motor, we do what is right in the situation and against the competition. I would however listen to TKM 177 and Mr Van Es because they will by far have more experience than most round there, even if they don't I can put my money on it that they have serious pace round that track as they do round all others!
