Please take on board the advise you have been given, if you start messing with the engine you run the risk of finishing up with something you cannot use.
An engine builder has to be sure that what he is sealing is correct in every detail if he does not and a problem is found he runs the risk of not being an engine sealer in the future, save your self a lot of time & money by giving the engine to those who know or alternativly have a play with the engine you have & purchase a sealed one for racing.
