i have got a clutched TKM but looking to try going DD - i have got the bits (sprocket and nut) needed but have a few questions after trying it last weekend when it did not go very well
1. what do you use to hold the front sproket still when you tighten/loosen the bolt, especially loosening it as getting it off the tapered shaft is not easy
2. do i need to change my carb settings low and high - for a warm/hot i would use 1.5 turns L and 1/8 high cold is 2 and 1/4
3. what about the idle setting do i need to increase it or wind it out so none at all not sure can see merit either way
4. we tried starting it using the starter and it was very lumpy nothing like it runs with the clutch is that to be expcted or because we did not have the carb set up correctly, though did find that the carb we were using was not in great shape so changed for spare and run much better with the clutch...
5. pop off settings?
