To whomever did this to your son or for that matter the anybody else who might consider doing it in the future.

Having a brother who is Senior Police Officer and another who is a Senior Solicitor with the CPS I can assure you of the following.

If the damage was discovered prior to the driver entering the kart you would at the very least be liable to a charge of criminal damage.

Had the driver entered the kart as was the case here, it is highly likely that you would be facing a charge of attempted murder.

Should a Police Investigation need to be undertaken the NVTD which stores data for a minumum of 7 years can pin point all of those attending an event within minutes.

CCTV + Personal Video Camera Footage + Personal Still Pictures could then be seized by court order(Available to the Police in minutes) from everybody who attended the event.

I imagine you get the rest........
