Club 100 went to extreme 115cc engines 3 years ago but obviously did not want to change the name as it has a ring to it - Club 115 dosn't sound quite right and think of all the re-printing bills!! The engines are standard TKM but the gearing is conservative to avoid engine re-builds every 5 minutes. On an average weekend the club takes 45 karts to cover 2 hour informal test on Friday evening, 2 x 2.25 enduros + 50 minutes each practice on Saturday (35 karts per race). On Sunday there are the Sprint races over three classes (24/26 Karts per race). Add mid-week testing and other championships like BUKC (Universities) and you can see that the karts probably do more milage than my car and have to be built heavy enough to do the miles and the engine stress to be reduced. At the last premier enduro at Wilton we qualified .9 of a second off pole and lined up 26th - the whole field covered by 1.4.
