hey mate, erm depends what you want to do, if your talking about karting, im not sure, if your talking about race tracks like silverstone, donington etc then you can marshal in the paddock and pits from 12 up to 16, and then on the track from 16 onwards, its all volentary, so you dont get paid, well unless you win the raffle or sometimes you get 10 quid from the club (which usually comes from the drivers)

in terms of kart marshalling you may be able to do it at a younger age....

...either way check out the volenteers in motorsport website or marshals.co.uk....

...marshalling is brilliant fun, you get into the events for free and get the best seat in the house (sod the people with vip passes.....theyre nothing in comparison to the view marshals get! (especially if your on the grid with all the nice cat suits and lycra...opps did i jus say that! LOL)
