Sorry to hear that there was an incident at 3 sisters - hope everyone is OK .
I think marshalling should be part of the ARKS test . All drivers at NatSKA ( schools karting ) have to do several marshalling sessions prior to getting their licence , under adult supervision of course . All the parents are also involved in marshalling as well because that is how the mettings are run- every team has to field a proportionate amount of marshalls according to the size of their school team so everyone develops skills. I did raise it several years ago at an MSA seminar for officials but the Kart committee never really explored it and it isn't difficult to add it to the licencing requirements - people should also do another session when they upgrade
