GR2 asked if this was correct - "once done lift back of kart up with the cylinder caps of and gently on/off with peddle for a minute just to push any little bubbles up and than you have a solid peddle?!"

If he does exactly what it says here he will get air travelling back to the caliper and so for completeness should then rebleed at the caliper end, then top up again at the MC.
In my opinion OTK brakes are pretty poor in all areas - weak retardation, picky on pads, prone to binding for a number of reasons, calipers wear badly where the pads fit, they load the pad retaining pin up, the tf holes in the mcyl are sharp edged and cut into the seals immediately you fit them, and so on.
There are MUCH better brakes available.
