sounds correct for the bs6, assuming you already have the brake fluid already in the M.C. etc.

You would lift the back of the kart up first to push the bubbles to the back of the caliper, as air will rise. Then open the nipples and you should get a better result. connect a pipe to the nipples to reduce mess and you'll see the bubbles better.

DO NOT overtighten the nipples!!!

I can only say this from experience, but I'm sure others have different ways.
