Paul IS German, but his partner (can never remember his name) is Dutch.

The piece that's 'wierd' about it is that, having been karting for over 50 years, NOTHING in karting has been as reliable as the Aixro! The cause is simply 'good design' and 'quality engineering'. I'm not surprised that it CAN be done: I am surprised it HAS been done!

Personally, I think Wanke; is the way ALL karts should go. We have seen how reliable and cheap to run the Aixro is..... why are we wasting our time with other engine designs.... the Wankel suits karts PERFECTLY:-

Small
Light
powerful
Easy to maintain

The engine note is a bit 'sad' after 2 stroke SCREAMERS but..... so is the Rotax and the TKM..... and the other 4 stroke HORRORS.... well.....
