Now if we would get away with that then we would - simples

But as we would not, then the choice is either don't race at PFI or view the axle as a maintenance item and change it regularly or identify if it is a supply issue and if that's the case buy another brand.

One thing is for certain if the issue is not addressed then someone may get killed, Rich Vito was killed when a wheel hit him http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/richvito God knows what may happen if part of the axle is still attached when a wheel brakes away and starts bouncing down the track !
